Rules in more detail
Section titled “Rules in more detail”Capture choice and the quiet-move draw
Section titled “Capture choice and the quiet-move draw”This is English draughts, also called American checkers. Captures are compulsory, but you can choose among the available capturing pieces and sequences; taking the greatest number is not compulsory. The same piece must keep jumping while it can. A man reaching the far rank is crowned and ends its move there. Eighty individual turns without a capture or crowning produce a draw. A player with no legal move loses even if pieces remain.
Keep playing
Section titled “Keep playing”Use Rematch after the result to play again. To pause an unfinished match, the table owner can remove and keep its board.
See seats and solo play for multiplayer and Play alone, or item stakes if you want to agree on a pot.
